I am a user experience and digital product designer as well as full stack developer based in Bristol, CT. Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of working with individuals, small businesses, corporations and non-profit organizations to establish their digital presence, build their brands, develop their digital storefronts, improve community engagement as well as enhance their efficiency. My experiences as a digital design leader have allowed me the opportunity to connect with stakeholders, product managers, and partners to tell stories, highlight products and build businesses, both new ventures & corporate innovation.

As an entrepreneur, I founded Milton Jackson Creative LLC (MJC) in 2005.  MJC was established to help non-profit organizations but within a year, it’s market reach expanded and scaled to servicing clients such as the State of Connecticut, Fredonia College of SUNY, Community Health Services of Hartford and more.

In 2008, I joined ESPN as a contract designer and member of the Digital Media team helping to redesign thousands of decentralized content pages and establishing a front-end framework that later re-used within the ESPN.com ecosystem. My role expanded after being brought on full time in 2009 to supporting the redesign of ESPNDeportes.com, ESPNFC.com, ESPN Play.  I was also heavily involved in the design of long-form content through the Outside the Lines brand. In 2011, I joined the WatchESPN.com agile development team ushering a new wave of TVEverywhere products including the flagship website, app and connected platforms.

In 2014, I joined Travelers Insurance.  I was quickly appointed application development manager leading digital marketing efforts within eBusiness.  Within months, I began leading the redesign effort overhauling the entire application infrastructure of public facing content for Travelers.com.  I would later lead the effort to build and develop a real-time, responsive digital payment capability as well as serve on the executive digital strategy team defining what digital meant for the company.

In 2016, I joined United Technologies Corporation as a senior user experience and user interface designer.  In my current role, I design and manage design through a four-stage innovation process.  My position requires meeting with customers (both internal and external), gathering ethnographic data, identifying pain points and ideating solutions that drive actual, performance and perceptive improvements.

Over the last four years, I’ve spent a considerable amount of time behind the lens establishing my photography skills.  As I grew more and more as a photographer, I recognized a gap within the industry and established PicSpotr, an application development company geared towards building digital solutions to help photographers manage their day to day businesses.  PicSpotr was launched August 2015 after one year of business model generation, demand testing, strategic planning, and product development.
